T H E S H O O T
All shoots take place at an outdoor location to suit you. You can choose the venue or we can suggest one that will work, somewhere engaging, allowing your children to have fun. It works best if the shoot takes place in a venue the children haven’t been to before so it is fresh and new.
The shoot is designed to be fun and exciting. Tony will be looking to take not just the smiling, happy shots, but the expressions that really capture the nature of your child.
You will be presented with a wide range of images to select from in black and white or colour.
EXPECTATIONS
As apposed to studio work, location photography offers new opportunities every time. The shoot is not structured with set poses, but flows naturally. Following your shoot there will be around 60 amazing images to choose from via our online gallery.
WHAT TO WEAR
Try to keep clothes as neutral as possible, avoiding anything with writing and logos. Try not to have bright colours and also avoid having really dark and really light items together. If your child has striking eye colours it always works well to pick out that colour with clothing (ie blue eyes = blue clothing). If it's going to be cold day a nice warm jacket that can be put on and taken off quickly works well. For group shots it's good if the the colours are not clashing and balance well.
PAYMENT
Depending on the option you have gone with a card payment can be made on the day of the shoot.
ORDERING PRINTS AND FRAMES
Once your images have been processed they will be uploaded to our online viewing website (normally two weeks after the shoot). These will be low resolution images with the Tony Monaghan Photography logo watermarked on them. You are welcome to download these and share these on social media. The images remain live for 1 month. From these you will select your favourites to be printed and framed.
